WHOAAAA RAAADIICAAAL!!!

I was on my way home from watching “Knowing” starring Nicolas Cage (average movie by the way, kinda dragged), and Brian and I stopped by the local 7/11 by Danforth and I believe Greenwood? I’m not even sure if they intersect, but it’s somewhere there. Anyway, thirsty and hungry as hell, we had a budget of $4. Nowadays, that $4 can only get us the liquid we desperately need quench our thirst. So we decided we can survive without munchies and went for the Gatorade instead. I needed to relieve myself but that 7/11 didn’t have a public washroom. “Thank you, come again!” said the friendly indian employee. I thought to myself: “Wow, they do say that. It wasn’t just a stereotype from The Simpsons own version of 7/11…Kwik - E Mart.” So I kinda giggled to myself because if I shared it with Brian he’d most likely just reply like this: “duurrr ummm hey look, my drink is green! WEEEEE!” I urinated behind the store. On my way back to the van, I noticed the payphone. Hard to imagine how many people still use the thing. I remember back around late 90’s and early 2000, I used to buy those pre-paid cards for the payphone and thought I was so damn cool. Anyway, I noticed something unusual with this payphone….extra buttons. I looked closer and realized it was a text pad! WOW! I was really amazed, like a tourist seeing the CN tower for the very first time. For those who know Brian C., you can only imagine how he reacted. Like a damn kid seeing Santa Claus. It’s probably just Brian and I, but we thought this was pretty cool. Although I’ll most likely never use it, its pretty neat.
